Not only will these chilly treats help keep them cool and hydrated, but they’ll also provide a tasty and nutritious snack. Pumpkin’s digestive benefits combined with the joy of a popsicle make this recipe a win-win for both you and your beloved pup. Recipe: Dog Pumpkin Popsicles

Ingredients:

1 cup plain yogurt

1 cup pumpkin puree

Directions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree and plain yogurt. Mix them together until you have a smooth and well-blended mixture.

3. Place the tray in the freezer and allow the popsicles to freeze for approximately 24 hours. (3-4 hours should be enough time if you are in a hurry to serve these to your furbaby). The 24 hours ensures that they’re frozen completely and ready for your pup to enjoy.

4. Once the popsicles are frozen, gently pop them out of the silicone mold. You can transfer them into a freezer bag for convenient storage. Alternatively, if you have enough freezer space, you can leave them in the tray.
